When the air turns golden. Reverie’s Autumn Wind captures the quiet drama of the season: leaves burning deep crimson, light filtering through a golden haze and autumn breathing softly across the earth. Born from a journey through Japan, this collection translates nature’s fleeting beauty into painterly patterns and modern textures for hospitality spaces that feel alive with seasonal rhythm. So honored to have participated in such a meaningful project! Thank you to Dana Castillo, MBA for helping to bring creativity, community and connection to life in this space. And special thanks to Consolidated Flooring for donating their time and talent to install our EcoWorx Resilient and wall base!
✨ Ribbon Cutting Day at NYCHA South Beach Houses! ✨ ✂️ I’m incredibly proud to celebrate the ribbon cutting of this newly transformed Community Room, a project designed and brought to life through STEAM Innovators, a Salvadori Center program promoting design justice for youth in NYCHA and NYC public schools. Over the past months, Juliana Wong, an amazing Salvadori educator, guided 4th–8th grade students as they reimagined and redesigned this space. These students created full design proposals—plans, elevations, models, material boards, and even a spec sheet—all while staying within a real project budget. Their creativity, ownership, and pride were truly inspiring. I also want to give a heartfelt thank you to my former colleagues at Perkins Eastman, Russell Scheer, AIA and Nasra Nimaga AIA, NCARB, NOMA for reaching out and inviting me to be part of this meaningful work. This project would not have been possible without the generosity, heart, and partnership of our design community. I’m incredibly grateful to: • Dana Castillo, MBA (Shaw) – flooring donation • Rebecca Smith (Sherwin-Williams) – paint donation • Kristine Zimmermann (Steelcase) – furniture donation I’m proud to have played a key role in making these connections and bringing together the right partners to help give this room new life. Watching these donated materials transform the students’ vision into a real, refreshed space is everything! As we head into Thanksgiving, I’m especially grateful for the opportunity to give back, uplift young voices, and contribute to a space that these kids can truly call their own. At the end of the day, all the hard work is for the students and kids who will use this room every day, a place where they can feel safe, inspired, and truly at home in their community. 💛🏡✨

EcoWorx™ Resilient has been named one of four recipients of the 2025 Material Health All-Star Innovation Award by the Health Product Declaration Collaborative (HPDC). This award recognizes organizations leading the way in manufacturer-driven innovation, transparent material health disclosure, and the elimination of harmful substances in building products. Building on the legacy of EcoWorx® carpet tile, the industry’s first PVC-free and fully recyclable carpet product, EcoWorx Resilient brings similar sustainable principles to a hard surface format. It carries a Health Product Declaration (HPD), Declare label, and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), with Cradle to Cradle Certified® expected later this year.
