We're thankful for the eight soldiers from the California National Guard who have supported Second Harvest during the last few weeks. With the recent government shutdown and temporary halt in SNAP benefits, we saw an increased need for food assistance in our community. The soldiers stepped in and helped us in several areas of our operations, including donation pickups and providing assistance within our Distribution Center. This enabled our team to build and deliver larger orders to our Partner Network while maintaining our normal operations. Thank you for your service to the Food Bank and our community.
