We want to wish a heartfelt congratulations to our very own Sierra Grossman, who has been elected to the Brewer's Association Board of Directors for a three-year term. Sierra has been working at Sierra Nevada since she was 15 years old, starting as a dishwasher in our Taproom and Restaurant in Chico, California. Among the various roles she has held at SNB, she worked in the maintenance shop on preventative maintenance, been a merchandiser on our local route, led our Advocacy and Social responsibility initiatives, and she currently serves as our Vice President. We know her experience and passion for our craft beer industry will serve our fellow BA members well! Congrats, Sierra! We are proud of you!

About us
Quality, Integrity, People, Community and Sustainability These are not just words, but a cultural lifestyle and commitment at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. Our mission is the same as it has been since Sierra Nevada started in 1980 with a humble hand-built brewhouse - to produce and market the finest ales and lagers possible and to do it responsibly. Today, we raise a glass to 45 years of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, a beer that’s been at the heart of craft since day one. In honor of our anniversary, Forbes shares how Pale Ale has stayed relevant amid the explosive growth of craft beer. As Ken Grossman put it: “We just brew damn good beer.”

Our rarest beer is heading nationwide! ✈️🍻 If you haven’t heard of Celly Drippins, it’s made from the extra beer that drips from the hop bags after Celebration is brewed and the hops are removed from the fermenter. Those small, intensely hopped drippings are collected and combined to create Celly Drippins, a beer as unique as its origin story. Now, we’re giving two lucky people the chance to join the festivities at our North Carolina brewery and experience Celly Drippins firsthand. Learn more in this new feature from Forbes:

We’re honored to receive the Clean Energy and Community Champion Award from the North Carolina Sustainability Energy Association (NCSEA). At Sierra Nevada, sustainability is part of who we are, from building one of the largest solar arrays in craft beer to hosting NCSEA’s 2025 AMPlify Appalachia event, which raised nearly $35,000 for western North Carolina hurricane relief. We’re proud to collaborate with organizations like NCSEA to advance clean energy and build a stronger, more sustainable community for everyone 🌎🍺

Every Celebration starts with hops, and for decades, it’s also started with Bart Whipple. After more than 40 years with Sierra Nevada, Assistant Brewmaster Bart Whipple has joined us for his 30th and final hop harvest. Bart’s been a part of countless brews, memories, and milestones, and while he’ll miss these trips, we’ll miss him even more. Here’s to you, Bart, cheers to a well-earned retirement 🍻
