We’re thrilled to welcome Del Meredith as our new Managing Director of Events. 🎉 Del’s passion for hospitality began at just 19 years old, when he worked in multiple guest-facing roles—including Housekeeper, Bellman, Concierge, and Valet Manager—at The Ocean Place Resort & Spa. Four years later, he was promoted to the events department as a Conference Manager, where his natural leadership and attention to detail began to shine. Following the completion of his military commitment in New Jersey, Del relocated to Atlanta in 2006, marking the start of a progressive career in food and beverage, operations, event planning, and sales. His experience spans several premier properties, including The Georgian Terrace Hotel, PS Atlanta, The Thompson Atlanta, and The Boca Raton Resort & Club. Throughout his career, Del has demonstrated a remarkable ability to attract, plan, and execute one-of-a-kind social and corporate gatherings. After four successful years with the Omni Hotel at Centennial Park—where he led the Events Department at the College Football Hall of Fame—Del is excited to return to the heart of Atlanta to lead event operations at The Roof at Ponce City Market, the pinnacle of Atlanta’s event scene. When he’s not orchestrating unforgettable experiences, you can find Del experimenting in the kitchen, kayaking the lakes around Metro Atlanta, or tending to his garden. He’s also an active supporter of the city’s performing arts community and contributes his time to numerous philanthropic causes.
