We had the opportunity to attend the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber Annual Meeting for their Spotlight on Business Awards! This event recognizes the innovation and lasting impact that businesses make on our community. It was inspiring to hear from Jamie Strayer, CEO/Executive Producer of Opportunity Knocks and the keynote speaker for this event, as she spoke about the partnership between them, Sound, and other community partners to help people gain access to financial tools and resources.

HuskyHack was an incredible success! Over a 24-hour period, we had many talented students show up to ideate and build the future of fintech, and we're proud to announce Riddhi Bajaj as the winner of Phase 2! Riddhi developed CardGenie, an AI co-pilot for credit card rewards, designed for millions of Americans who unknowingly leave money on the table. 🌟 In her own words, Riddhi describes the HuskyHack experience as "...an incredible 24-hour sprint that pushed me to turn an idea into reality. Competing solo was challenging, but it taught me that with the right tools and mindset, you can accomplish far more than you think possible." Congratulations Riddhi, we are excited to see how far you will go with CardGenie and your future endeavors!
