Winter Door Readiness: • Keep entryways clear: shovel snow and sweep ice away from thresholds • Clear runoff & gutters so water doesn’t freeze at door sills • Remove debris from exterior tracks and vestibule areas (do not use any tools on door hardware) • Protect sensors: clear blowing snow/ice from detection zones so sensors can work properly • Check doorways for visible seal damage or hardened weatherstripping — document and report, don’t attempt repairs • Monitor battery-backed systems for obvious issues and report immediately • Place door out of service and contact your AAADM‑certified service provider if you spot any issues Need help?
