With projected load growth and ongoing grid instability, the Department of Energy warns that millions of households and businesses are vulnerable to stressful grid conditions, and many are already feeling the effects.

We recently released new survey data showing that soaring electricity demand and extreme weather are fueling homeowner anxiety. Most respondents are concerned that new data centers will raise electricity costs, while also questioning whether utilities are prepared to manage the increased strain.
