Their commitment and professionalism truly shine, and clients and visitors alike notice it. Officer Mark Epps and Account Manager Lauryn Saunders have been instrumental in the success of a major contract since its inception in 2022. Mark consistently shows unwavering reliability and provides crucial field support, earning him the respect of both his team and our client. Officer John Wolf recently received commendation for his professional response to a safety issue. When vehicles began to block traffic in a branch parking lot, he acted, not only addressing the situation but also educating members on why the change was necessary, which helped de-escalate a potential conflict and kept everyone safe. The swing shift team of Sue Ann Marinez, Harry Brown, and Alvin Sassenhagen has been recognized for their outstanding teamwork. Their seamless collaboration and continuous diligence ensure the site remains secure and provides peace of mind for both management and our client. Officer Thomas Hinz demonstrated remarkable composure and quick thinking when a terminated individual attempted to gain unauthorized access to a facility. Upon confirming the person's status, Officer Hinz ensured they stayed in the front lobby and did not proceed further, effectively preventing a security breach. Executive leaders recently toured sites across the Nashville region. The first stop was a large manufacturing and distribution center in Huntsville, AL, where they met the team and recognized their constant engagement and readiness to assist site employees and visitors. Pictured are Senior VP of Operations Ryan Moran, Officer Desiri Foushee, Regional Manager Vincent Gaetano, Site Manager Ashley Judge, and COO Robert Rogalski. Back in Nashville, Ryan visited a downtown high-rise and met with Shift Lead Calvin Jarrett and Officer Robert McCallum. These two have been at this same site since joining our team and do a fantastic job setting a welcoming tone. Ryan also caught up with Site Supervisor John Johnson working at a distribution center outside the city. He transferred from our Memphis team, and was recently praised by the client's local management for being an effective leader. Last week in Charlotte, NC, our training department, regional management, site staff, and local police held a joint training session. The goal was to explain the protocol for activating the panic button, which dispatches CMPD. This training helped museum staff feel more confident about contacting the police when a situation arises. By reinforcing the partnership between museum staff, Sunstates Security, and CMPD, we are working to ensure a safer and more secure environment for everyone. Excellent work, team. Joining the Sunstates Security team in April 2025, he will be instrumental in identifying opportunities and building strategic partnerships in his market. Prior to Sunstates, Eric held executive and advisory positions at several large security firms. Starting his career as an officer in 2007, his drive propelled him through the ranks into management roles, driving growth, improving operations, and providing support for C-suite decisions. His recent roles as Vice President of Sales and Operations and Advisor to Chief Executive Officer further enhanced his skills and deepened his industry knowledge. Eric, an active member of organizations like ASIS and BOMA, is a great addition to our team.
