We recently recognized four dedicated professionals in the Dallas region with appreciation cards for their contributions to our clients' success. These cards carry messages like 'Glad You’re on the Team' and 'You Make a Difference,' and we truly mean it. New team member Officer Devante Green hit the ground running, recently assisting in the apprehension of individuals involved in an on-site theft. His proactive mindset and ambitions are already delivering elite results. Similarly, Officer Darnisha Daniels showed incredible heart and professionalism during a medical emergency. She provided critical support and secured the site until paramedics arrived, ensuring her teammate was never alone. In leadership, Site Manager Eddy Mbungkah has been a transformative force since March 2025. By focusing on staff morale and operational efficiency, he has achieved record-low overtime while earning the highest level of client trust. To cap it all off, we hosted a celebratory lunch for our team at a major manufacturing site in Irving to personally thank professionals like Sophia Brown (photographed with Account Manager Nathaniel Stampley) for their continued reliability. In the Denver region, our officers recently demonstrated that "Security" is about much more than a uniform, it’s about vigilance, compassion, and decisive actions.  A Life-Saving Response: When an OTR driver lost consciousness and crashed into a site gate, Lead Officer Jeff Davis didn’t hesitate. He immediately initiated CPR and coordinated with 911 dispatch. We have since received confirmation that Officer Davis’s heroic actions directly saved the driver’s life. Officer Davis, your leadership and respect for others make us incredibly proud to have you on the team. Preventing Critical Failure: Just moments before his shift ended at a medical center, Officer Mason Phippen conducted one final patrol. In the basement boiler room, he discovered a failing oxygen pump running on its backup motor, an issue that threatened patient care and facility safety. In October 2025, Scott McGillivray was promoted to VP of Business Development and Client Engagement, a role he earned after more than a decade of instrumental contributions to the company’s expansion. Since joining Sunstates in 2011, Scott has consistently performed as a top sales producer, pioneering new markets and cultivating long-term client relationships that yield robust referral networks. In his current role, he manages a premier portfolio and mentors the business development team on the service standards and values that define the Sunstates brand. With over thirty years of experience in corporate security and loss prevention, Scott possesses deep operational expertise within the industry. His background includes serving as Director of Loss Prevention, where he managed a security program of over 2,000 hours per week and developed a specialized fraud recovery department that secured hundreds of thousands of dollars in assets. Additionally, he held roles including Manager Of Safety and Security and LP Supervisor. A Boston native, Scott, holds a degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from the University of Massachusetts.
