“I don’t want to go to school today, I want to go to work!” – James, age 3 Our Morrisville Teleflex location recently welcomed more than 100 children, from toddlers to teenagers, for Bring Your Children to Work Day. The event gave kids a hands-on look at what we do, with fun, age-appropriate activities that introduced them to the world of medical technologies and the impact on healthcare. “We spend all day working together, knowing we’re parents, but events like this help you see the human side of your coworkers – and create a fun, outside-the-box workday for the employees,” said Tiffany Alexander, Senior Product Manager for Vascular Access and event lead. “When I asked my son what he thought I did for work, he said I ‘did a lot of walking – and some computer.’ Even though our younger attendees could not fully grasp our roles, I hope they made memories that one day spark an interest in healthcare.” A standout moment of the day?
