Safety Tip 🚧 Safety starts with awareness. Hazards on a construction site fall into four categories: Physical, Chemical, Ergonomic, and Biological. Before starting work, conduct a risk assessment with your safety team and crew leader to identify and mitigate these risks. OSHA’s top citations in 2025 were Fall Protection and Hazard Communication, both preventable with proper planning. Always check your work area before beginning daily tasks. #TGGSafety #SafetyTip #SafetyFirst
Hands-on learning in action! We recently teamed up with Central Ceilings to build and donate a plumbing fab lab for Wentworth Institute of Technology’s Sweeney Programs of Construction Management, giving students the opportunity to dry fit plumbing for laundry spaces and bathrooms. By taking apart and reassembling real units, students can connect drawings to reality while learning construction sequencing firsthand. Huge thanks to Central Ceilings, Inc. for their partnership, along with J.H. Pokorny Assoc., LLC for donating fixtures, and Metropolitan Pipe & Supply Co for donating materials to make this possible.

Safety Tip 🚧 A good night’s sleep isn’t just a comfort; it’s a safety requirement. Research shows that losing just 2 hours of sleep can impact your focus and reaction time as much as having 2–3 beers. Missing a full night’s rest (about 8 hours) can have the same effect as consuming 10–11 drinks, or a BAC around 0.20, more than double the legal driving limit of 0.08. In our line of work, alertness and quick judgment are critical. Fatigue slows reaction times, increases the likelihood of mistakes, and puts the whole team at risk. Make rest part of your daily safety routine: ✅ Aim for 8 hours of sleep ✅ Take breaks when needed ✅ Speak up if you’re fatigued Rest well. Work safe. #TGGSafety #SafetyTip #SafetyFirst
