Updates

  • Last week, we joined the Detroit Lions for their annual Thanksgiving Meal Distribution presented by Meijer — a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together. More than 60 AAA volunteers teamed up with Lions staff, cheerleaders and Roary to distribute 1,000 meal kits to families across the Detroit area. The energy, teamwork and shared commitment to service made the day truly meaningful. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support our neighbors and strengthen the community we’re proud to be part of. 🏈

  • In honor of Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day, our Georgia team provided elementary students with a powerful learning experience. Together with the City of Atlanta Department of Transportation and Safe Kids Worldwide, we helped 120 Finch Elementary students visit the National Center for Civil and Human Rights — deepening their understanding of Ruby Bridges’ story and the broader legacy of civil rights leaders who shaped our nation. Strengthening communities starts with creating opportunities for education, empowerment and connection. We’re grateful to the students, educators and our partners for coming together to make this impactful day possible.

  • Thank you to Wheels of Success, a valued community partner that we have proudly supported and worked closely with for nearly two decades. We were deeply honored to be recognized and presented with the Corporate Sponsor Hubcap Award at this year’s 2025 Wheels of Success Road Trip event. It is organizations like this that inspire us every day to continue our shared mission of providing reliable automotive services and solutions that help people in our community get, and stay, safely on the road.

  • We're proud of the collaborative work across our company that helped deliver meaningful rate reductions for Florida policyholders in 2025. Since January, our teams have secured regulatory approval for several home and auto insurance rate decreases. These changes reduce auto premiums by more than 15% and home premiums by 5%, benefiting over 139,000 AAA policyholders and generating more than $70 million in annual savings statewide. This reflects our ongoing commitment to providing trusted protection, exceptional value, and peace of mind for the communities we serve.

  • We’re proud to announce that we've been named a Top Workplace in several major markets across our footprint — including Des Moines, Detroit, Charlotte and Chicago. These honors reflect the passion, teamwork, and commitment our employees bring to serving our members each and every day. We're grateful to all our employees whose dedication is the reason our members trust and rely on us — and why ACG continues to be recognized as a great place to work.

  • The third Sunday of November marks the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, a day when we honor the lives cut short by crashes. For more than a century, AAA has been committed to advocating for safer roads and protecting those who travel them. The stories we gathered from those affected by crashes remind us that our work is far from over. So, today we ask that you: buckle up, put the phone down, drive sober and slow down. Because crashes hit different when they happen to you.

  • Last year, 46 emergency responders were killed while working on the roadside. "Slow Down, Move Over" laws exist in every state to prevent these tragedies, but a new study by the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety reveals widespread confusion among drivers. Key findings: * While most drivers are familiar with these laws, many don't understand the specifics. * Only 64% of drivers either slowed down or moved over when passing a roadside incident. * Tow truck operators face the greatest risk, with lower compliance rates from drivers compared to other emergency vehicles. Every roadside responder deserves to return home safely. When you see flashing lights ahead, don't just slow down—slow down and move over.
