Bringing comfort and coats to those in need 💙 For the second year in a row, we partnered with Advantage Federal Credit Union to sponsor the Ibero American Action League's Coat Drive. We sent volunteers to help sort coats prior to the distribution event on November 22nd, as well as volunteers for the distribution day itself. Over 1,000 people came to the drive, held at Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter School in Rochester, to choose the perfect outerwear for the long, cold winter ahead. Those who attended were also treated to a mini-vendor fair and took home a hot meal, in addition to a “personal shopper” to help them select the perfect coats, scarves, gloves, and hats. This event makes such a difference in the lives of so many of our neighbors in the City of Rochester! Since 2002, Artist's Unlimited has opened the stage to individuals with developmental, physical, and intellectual disabilities, creating opportunities to shine in the performing arts. 🎭 Our Greece and Virtual Branch staff were proud to support their recent production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat by volunteering as ushers and at concessions. Through theater and their choral program Voices, Artist's Unlimited breaks down barriers and builds life skills by bringing together performers of all abilities. They produce full musicals featuring colorful sets and costumes, a magnificent stage crew and orchestra, and world-class performers in a state-of-the-art theater. We've been impressed with the recent work by AU and are excited to continue our partnership in 2026!
