A Family of Companies Three Saints Bay is the Holding Company for a group of 8(a), Alaska Native Corporation (ANC)-owned, Small Disadvantaged Business service companies. A Holding Company owns part, all, or a majority of other companies’ outstanding stock. Three Saints Bay does not produce goods or solutions itself; rather, our purpose is to provide services to our own subsidiaries and manage the ownership of shares of subsidiaries. Our family of companies provides services to federal and state government agencies including the Department of Defense (DoD), civilian agencies, and intelligence communities. Each company has its individual size standards, unique qualifications, past performances, and customers. We are excited and grateful to share that on September 18th, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) unanimously granted the equitable stay request for the Alutiiq Tribe of Old Harbor’s hydroelectric project. This is a major milestone for our community, paving the way for clean, reliable energy and advancing our journey toward energy independence. This summer, OHNC was honored to host FERC Commissioner Judy Chang, Annie Blanchard who serves as lead advisor to Commissioner Chang on hydro projects, Karina Waller, State Director for U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski, and Tanya Lautaret, Regional Director for the Kenai Peninsula and Kodiak with Senator Murkowski’s office, on Kodiak Island. OHNC CEO Kristina Woolston, VP of Community and External Affairs Cynthia Berns, and Board Chairwoman Lillian O’Brien shared a presentation on the hydro project as well as agriculture, mariculture, and other areas of importance to the people of Old Harbor. A highlight for the group was a performance by the Nuniaq Alutiiq Dancers, comprised of Old Harbor youth. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to share Old Harbor’s rich history and culture while moving our community forward with key infrastructure like hydro power.
