We have earned our AAAHC accreditation at ALL of our locations! 🎉 Status as an accredited organization means TCCH has met nationally recognized standards for quality health care set by the AAAHC (Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care), joining more than 6,600 ambulatory health care organizations across the United States. The goal of accreditation is for organizations to adopt policies and procedures that fuel ongoing quality improvement and self-evaluation every day. Dr. Heather Miranda, TCCH Interim CEO, describes why the AAAHC accreditation is an important milestone, “AAAHC walk throughs and accreditation ensure a continuous focus on quality and the highest standards of care. This benefits our patients and employees by allowing us to place an emphasis on safety and quality improvement initiatives that make us better as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).” A huge THANK YOU to all of our employees that made this possible.

Today we honored 32 of our team members for their 5-, 10-, and 15-year employment anniversaries. This group is instrumental in making TCCH a top, patient-focused healthcare choice in Indian River County. We are so proud to honor Patricia and Dr. Khawaja and their 15 years of service to others. Aaron Dubrinsky, DO, TCCH Assistant BH Director, did an amazing job representing TCCH and advocating for children and parents during the IRC Children Services Health and Wellbeing Community Forum. Community members gathered to learn about strengthening youth behavioral health through prevention and expanded access to services. TCCH provides children with behavioral health services from talk therapy to ADHD and autism support, along with medication management. The Oslo Pediatric Center is taking shape! This comprehensive center will specialize in pediatric medicine, dental, behavioral and mental health services, along with PT/OT/Speech therapy. Pharmacy is steps away for affordable and fast prescriptions so you don’t have to wait or make an extra trip. #HealthcareForAll

TCCH had the honor of hosting State Representative Dana Trabulsy at our Oslo Health Center. This is also the site of our new Pediatric Center, currently under construction. TCCH leadership and Rep. Trabulsy discussed legislation impacting community health centers and how early childhood healthcare leads to greater academic achievement, cognitive development, and social-emotional development.
