How much can tutoring really help? We’re proud to say, quite a bit! Based on student scores on TME Pre- and Post-Assessments in the 2024-2025 school year, students showed an average increase of almost 20% in their scores- that's more than a full letter grade! Whether it was a 30% to a 50%, or an 80% to a perfect 100%, progress is progress. We’re so proud of our students for their hard work, and so thankful to our talented tutors who are making a difference in the success of their students.

Thanks so much to our wonderful tutors for this photo of their awesome monthly bulletin board! Showcasing student work on campus is not only a great way to entice more tutoring attendance, but also to encourage students to take pride in their work, like the themed "spooky news stories" students wrote throughout October showcased below. Parents can also admire the great work from tutoring students during upcoming parent conferences. Keep it up, tutors and students!

Why are agendas so important in tutoring? Because structure is key! A visible agenda not only shows everyone that the tutor is prepared, but it also helps students know what lies ahead. So, students don’t need to worry about learning new rules or routines, and can instead spend all that important brain power on learning academic content! Predictability also shows the students that the tutor is a safe person who can be relied on for consistent, regulated routines. Check out the agendas we’ve shared from real TME tutors!

Happy fall from Tutor Me Education! Incorporating themed lessons can not only help students stay engaged during lessons, but the use of realia and manipulatives also promotes hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and the connection of classroom learning into everyday life!

We heard you loud and clear! After gathering tutor feedback from the 2024-2025 school year about our standards-based assessments, we have now created improved abridged versions of our K-12 English Language Arts and Math assessments. From reordering math questions to reorganizing reading comprehension passages, we hope our assessments will now be even more accessible to students. No one likes test anxiety!
