The garrison has held a relationship with Harford County for many years and we are grateful for their support. This morning, we bid a fond farewell to outgoing garrison commander, Col. Philip Mundweil and garrison Command Sgt. Maj. Paul Denson, and welcomed incoming garrison commander, Col. Troy Johnson. Denson relinquished responsibility. Mundweil and Denson both served as tremendous Army leaders for the garrison the last two years. On June 4, 2025, Army leaders including APG Senior Commander and Commanding General of the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Maj. Gen. James D. Turinetti IV, Mr. Scott Halter, Acting Director, ID-Sustainment (ID-S), and ID-S Command Sgt. Maj., Command Sgt. Maj. Tamisha Love, were in attendance during APG’s Installation Priorities Board (IPB). The IPB coordinates installation, IMCOM, and mission partner efforts to drive the Senior Commander’s priorities in a dynamic environment. The IPB served as Col.
