Usagi Medical Group (UMG) is a collection of geeky medical professionals. We have provided on-site medical coverage for fandom conventions across the southeast since 1997. During this time, we have treated over 6,000+ patients and saved more than a few lives. UMG makes a significant commitment to patient care and preventative efforts, making them an integral part of the convention-going experience. Our priorities center around the care and well-being of convention attendees and staff. Our clinic makes simple annoyances disappear. A blister no longer ruins a convention for a cosplayer. An upset stomach can be readily remedied. A rolled ankle doesn’t mean the end of one’s convention fun. We’re not just treating the person; we’re salvaging their convention experience. UMG’s First Aid Response decreases the need to transport individuals to the hospital. The presence of our personnel illustrates that the convention is committed to the well-being of its attendees. UMG recruit personnel who have a diverse set of certifications and medical credentials. We are always on the lookout for more qualified people to join our family.
