It was a pleasure to host Texas General Land Office Commissioner Dr. Dawn Buckingham and NewsNation correspondent Ali Bradley at USA Rare Earth, Inc. (Nasdaq: USAR)’s Round Top deposit in Sierra Blanca, Texas last week. Their visit highlighted one of the most critical links in the U.S. rare earth supply chain, and Round Top’s unique status as one of the most significant heavy rare earth deposits in North America.   Round Top contains 15 of the 17 rare earth elements, including notably high concentrations of dysprosium and terbium, two of the most essential heavy rare earths used in high-performance permanent magnets for defense systems, automobiles, industrial machinery, chips, and advanced technologies.   Their visit came just days after our announcement that we have accelerated Round Top’s commercialization timeline to late 2028, two years earlier than previously projected. USA Rare Earth, Inc. (Nasdaq: USAR) announced a significant milestone, accelerating the commercialization timeline for its Round Top deposit in Texas by two years, now targeting commercial production in late 2028.   Round Top, the United States’ richest known deposit of heavy rare earth elements, gallium, and beryllium, is a cornerstone of our integrated mine-to-magnet value chain. Bringing the project online earlier will position USAR as one of the few U.S. producers of heavy rare earths such as dysprosium and terbium, which are essential for high-performance permanent magnets used in defense systems, electric vehicles, data centers, and many key industrial technologies.
