We partnered with CRY - Child Rights and You to bring a new STEM learning cell to Navakuva Primary School in Halol. Our team in India joined the students for hands-on learning sessions, sparking curiosity and celebrating the joy of practical education. Our facility in Salina, Kansas, operates the largest galvanizing kettle by volume in North America, giving the team of 110 Valmont employees the ability to process parts up to 88 feet long for durable, corrosion-resistant protection. Our Salina employees are known for their creativity, teamwork and strong safety culture. They also make a difference outside of work, supporting local schools, the Red Cross and community events like the Salina Crossroads Marathon and the River Festival.

We are proud to support Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College with a new Valley Irrigation DATA Farm Building where students gain hands-on experience with precision irrigation technology. By combining classroom instruction with field work, students develop real-world skills in water optimization and productivity. Several interns have already transitioned into full-time roles with Valley, helping prepare the next generation of agricultural talent.

In Romania, a large agricultural operation faced workforce shortages and aging equipment that made daily management a challenge. Our team worked closely with them to demonstrate how AgSense 365 could meet their needs, using a 50-machine pilot that reduced labor and led to an estimated 10% increase in crop yield. They now plan to equip all 680 pivots with Valley technology, increasing average yields across corn, wheat, barley, sunflower, alfalfa and soy.

When Tampa General Hospital was building a new rooftop helipad, they needed something to protect it from saltwater corrosion and hurricanes. Valmont Coatings hot-dip galvanized this 122-ton steel structure to give it a lifespan of over 100 years with minimal maintenance. At our Tubing facility in Valley, Nebraska, about 120 Valmont team members bring precision and teamwork to every part of the process, from raw material handling to final shipping. With several employees marking more than 50 years of service, the Tubing team’s experience runs deep. Their expertise supports not only Valmont’s irrigation and lighting divisions but also a wide range of industries, from agriculture to transportation.

Preston started as a temporary small pole welder in 2014 and now leads a team of 60 as the production supervisor at our Brenham facility. One of the many ways we are celebrating #VeteransDay is by raising the flags of all six branches of the military in honor of those who have protected our country and freedom.
