    🦸 Yesterday was National Superhero Day, and one of our customers used goHappy to celebrate in a super fun way! They sent out a quick survey asking their frontline team: “Who’s YOUR favorite superhero and why?” The responses poured in — sparking smiles, conversations, and a genuine sense of connection. This is a great example of how small moments of engagement — especially ones that recognize and celebrate employees — can have a BIG impact. Here’s to making frontline workers feel super every day!

    Small Activity, Big Breakthrough✨ Who knew a few beads and some string could create such a meaningful moment? Our Development Coordinator, Alyssa, recently hosted a friendship bracelet-making event at Serenity Living Center and Oak Haven Residential, where we provide mental and behavioral health services. Residents got creative, shared laughs, and turned a simple activity into something special. It’s incredible how the right moment can spark something unexpected. Residents who often stay in the background lit up as they made multiple bracelets, reminding us that even small activities can lead to meaningful breakthroughs.     As we navigate the challenges and stresses of daily life, it's important to remember the powerful tools we have for managing stress and maintaining our well-being. One such tool that has proven to be incredibly effective is Music Therapy. Angela Parsons, VCS' very own Music Therapy Team Lead, shared the following insight: "Music therapy helps manage stress by using music to help clients regulate emotions, reduce physical stress responses, and connect to their inner resilience. Music Therapists facilitate personalized music therapy experiences such as rhythmic breathing, guided relaxation, music improvisation, singing, and songwriting to support clients to develop tools to manage stress both during and beyond music therapy sessions." #music therapy #stress #mental health
