The reimbursement cuts forecasted for January 2026 is triggering wound company closures nationwide. Facilities face a growing risk of losing wound-care coverage overnight.    Vohra Wound Physicians stands apart—we are financially stable, physician-led, with the largest clinical service footprint, and fully prepared to provide immediate wound care support wherever needed.    The reimbursement reductions for skin grafts and biologics will NOT affect how we approach our wound healing objectives. Our physicians deploy this modality in only 1% of our patient population (based on medical necessity and patient qualification) and it will continue to be a limited option in our clinical 'tool box' only where appropriate.   Please consider our physicians for any wound care needs within your facility(s).   Skin conditions treated: Pressure Ulcers Venous Ulcers Arterial Ulcers Diabetic Foot Ulcers Dermatological conditions (scabies, ring worm, actinic keratosis, urticaria, skin lesions)

Vohra Wound Physicians welcomes Lindsey Fletcher, DNP, FNP-C, as the latest addition to our practice. Lindsey has dedicated over 20 years of her life to the medical field. Throughout her career, she has been honored to be named Provider of the Year multiple times over the past eight years. Recognition that reflects not only her commitment to patient care but also her passion for advancing health and wellness in every community that she serves. In addition to clinical practice, Lindsey is proud to be a professor, teaching courses in Epidemiology, Women’s Health, and Global Health. Education has always been a core value in her life, and she feels privileged to help shape the next generation of healthcare professionals. Beyond her career, her greatest role is being a mother. Lindsey is blessed with six wonderful children who each inspire her in their own ways. Her oldest is a freshman at West Virginia University, pursuing higher education with determination. She also has two middle schoolers who balance school with their love of baseball, a competitive dancer whose dedication amazes her daily, a third grader full of curiosity, and one with aspirations of becoming a dental hygienist. Watching them grow, chase their dreams, and discover their passions is one of her greatest joys. When Lindsey is not working or supporting her children at baseball fields or dance competitions, she loves to travel. Cruising and spending time at the beach are her favorite ways to relax and recharge. Vohra Wound Physicians welcomes Dr. JONATHAN JOSEPH COTTER, M.D., as the latest addition to our practice. Dr. Cotter grew up in New York City.  He attended Oberlin College, where he completed a Psychobiology major, (and extra-curricular studies in music). After college, he studied Hsing-I Ch’uan internal Kung Fu and was licensed as an instructor; he completed his Doctorate in Oriental Medicine and was licensed in Chinese acupuncture and herbal medicine in 1986. Dr. Cotter went to the American University of the Caribbean, where he received his M.S. in Medical Science and M.D. in 2001. He completed his Family Practice Residency at the University of Wisconsin in Wausau and has been Board-certified since 2006.  Dr. Cotter has worked as a FP, an ER physician, acupuncturist, and was certified as a Functional Medicine Practitioner in 2019, Root Cause Protocol Consultant in 2024. Vohra Wound Physicians welcomes Dr. Philip Philips, M.D., as the latest addition to our practice.    Dr. Philips is a highly experienced general surgeon at Landmark Medical Center. A proud graduate of Brown University, Dr. Philips was inspired early on to pursue a career in general surgery. He completed a fellowship in laparoscopic surgery and has since dedicated the past 25 years to practicing as a skilled general and laparoscopic surgeon. In addition, Dr. Philips has spent the last decade advancing his expertise as an accomplished robotic surgeon. Since its inception nine years ago, Dr. Philips has played an integral role at the Landmark Medical Center Wound Clinic, providing cutting-edge care to patients with complex wounds. Vohra Wound Physicians welcomes Amber Furlow, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C, as the latest addition to our practice. Amber is a native Texan who grew up near Dallas; she moved to the East Texas area and graduated with her ADN in 2006 from Kilgore College. Her experience as a registered nurse includes home health, ICU, and case management. In 2020, she graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with her master's degree as an Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. Since that time, she has managed chronic conditions for homebound patients, taught pharmacology at Kilgore College, and practiced spine care.     She regularly attends and is an active member of a local church.
