With 9/15 behind us and just one major tax deadline left this fall, it’s a good moment to revisit what our survey revealed about stress, recognition and support during busy season. The real pressure point isn’t new Associates or seasoned Partners - it’s mid-career professionals (Seniors & Managers). They log some of the longest hours, carry the bulk of delivery, yet often feel the least recognized. Our data shows firms can change that. Perks help, but it’s the mix of perks and practical support - automation, workload management and extra resources - that really moves the needle. Together, these raised perceived recognition and reward scores from 6.5 to 7.7 on average. As we head into 10/15, leadership focus here can make all the difference.
