Our range of products include liquid handling, plate and tip cleaning, plate washing, plate sealers, plate labellers, tube labellers, plate stackers, microplates, seals, acrylic manifolds, solvent evaporators, freezer racks, freezer management software, sample storage solutions, and much more. Working with some of the best innovative companies, our team have a breadth of knowledge and expertise that enables us to follow the full cycle of our products from concept design, software, electrical and mechanical engineering through to final manufacture and installation. We are great believers that automation should be available for everyone and try to deliver automation 'done simply" at a reasonable, affordable cost. Every year, laboratories are responsible for producing approximately 5.5 million tonnes of waste. There is no question that plastic pollution is intensifying as a worldwide issue. However, there's an emerging trend where laboratory managers are focusing on sustainability. In alignment with global efforts towards environmental friendliness, laboratories are increasingly adopting recycling and reuse strategies to cut down on plastic consumption. Through these initiatives, the scientific community is poised to make a profound impact on reducing its ecological impact. Here at Wildcat, we offer innovative solutions to purify and repurpose single-use plastics, enabling their repeated use for up to 20 times or even further. This not only reduces the usage but also cuts costs significantly. We're also deeply committed to responsible sourcing of our products and making a notable decrease in our carbon footprint as part of our drive towards environmental sustainability. We are constantly looking to develop new products

🚀 The Lab of the Future Runs on Plasma Cleaning Single-use labware has long been the standard, but it comes with hidden costs: storage, supply chain headaches, and expensive disposal. Plasma cleaning changes that. With IonField Systems, labs can: ✅ Reuse pipette tips and microplates safely and reliably ✅ Cut waste disposal costs and reduce plastic consumption ✅ Free up storage space and streamline supply management ✅ Build more sustainable, resilient operations The future of science is smarter, leaner, and greener—and plasma cleaning is powering the way forward.

It is with great sadness I find myself writing this post to you all. On the morning of 31st July 2025 we lost a true icon, mentor and best friend. Haakon Howard: Haakon was the brother you would have always wanted. Whenever you were with Haakon, you felt that anything and everything was possible. His ever optimistic outlook and positivity, even in the face of certain disaster, and against any sort of adversity made you feel that, of course, "it was all going to work out right". He made you laugh a lot, he could also make you cry with exasperation at times, but it did not last long. Another wise crack or shrewd observation would soon follow and you'd be smiling again. Haakon lived his life to the absolute max; From his early days at boarding schools on the isle of Wight through a series of famously bizarre jobs ranging from ice cream salesman in Cannes to sous-chef at the Paris Ritz, to a career first in British HiFi and then with Bigneat, an entry into life Science where he really excelled. His larger-than-life persona was ideally suited to technical selling. He didn't really have customers, more series of happy business friends who would return to him time again for advice, help and solutions to their scientific problems. Although his work took him all over the world, France was always his spiritual home. He loved the food, the wine, the scenery, the sea and sunshine, but most of all he loved the people and the French way of life. Returning to the UK to steer Wildcat to business success, he settled in rural Lincolnshire where he enjoyed the tranquillity of village life, entertaining his friends and locals alike (he was a prodigious and highly competent cook), pottering around antique shops his other great passion in life, long rides in the countryside and time spent in his fabulous garden or just watching the local wildlife. He hated being ill and being in and out of hospitals and clinics because it was getting in the way of his Grand Plan, he had so much to live for and to see to completion. To be unable to pursue his passions and his business opportunities was extremely frustrating for Haakon and made his suffering worse. But he still bore it with customary stolidity, optimism and that ever-present cheerfulness in the face of an unknown future. Wherever he is now, he is surely organising a party and keeping everyone in stitches with his repartee and bright beaming smiles. We will miss you, brother. Rest in peace H #haakonhoward
