As Director of Pharmacy at Centene Pharmacy Services, Nathan leads pharmacy strategy for Michigan, driving innovative community engagement programs and overseeing formulary compliance, quality improvement initiatives, and actuarial support. Previously, Nathan played a pivotal role in launching a new health plan for Centene in New Mexico, where he built and led the internal pharmacy department and enhanced Star Ratings, HEDIS, and NCQA performance. At Express Scripts, he managed clinical account teams for complex clients, optimizing cost-of-care strategies, and contributing to enterprise-wide service model improvements. Nathan’s career began in clinical and operational pharmacy roles at Lovelace Health System, advancing from staff pharmacist to Director of Pharmacy, overseeing services across Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial lines. His leadership has focused on regulatory compliance, formulary management, and integrating clinical pharmacy strategies into broader healthcare delivery systems.
