The flexible ads creation experience helps advertisers save time by automatically mixing and matching ads using up to four images or videos, headlines, and descriptions which can generate up to 64 possible ad combinations.
Prerequisites
- You’ll need to start creating a Classic ad set and select brand awareness, website visits, website conversions, video views or engagement objectives.
- Ensure you select the Classic ad set option and Flexible ad creation option to use flexible ads after you select your objective.
- You must use a Dynamic Group Budget with budget optimization, which will be automatically selected for you when you create your ad set with flexible ads.
Flexible ads creation
To create flexible ads:

After setting up your Classic ad set's audience, budget, and settings, click the Next button to go to the Ads in this ad set page.

Click the Create new ad(s) button.

Complete the following fields:
- Media - Upload up to four images or videos by clicking the Images or Videos buttons.
- Introductory texts - Add up to four introductory texts. This text is displayed above your ad’s image or video.
- Destination URL - Enter your URL. URLs must have the http:// or https:// prefix and you can use up to 2,000 characters.
- Headlines - Enter up to four different headlines. This text is displayed below your ad’s image or video.
- Call-to-action - Use the dropdown menu to select from available call-to-action buttons.

Click the Save button.
- You can preview up to four ads to see how your ad will appear on different devices by choosing Desktop or Mobile from the dropdown menu.

Review your ad and click the Next button.
- You’ll also be able to see all the different ad components you’ve uploaded during the ad set review process before launching your ad set.

When you’re ready, you can launch your new ad set by clicking the Launch ad set button.
