🚨 Big news: Corti speaks Arabic now, and it gets me very excited 🙌 Why is this such a breakthrough? Because Arabic medical documentation is a tough frontier in healthcare AI: • It’s not just one language, it’s dozens of dialects spread across regions • Doctors mix Modern Standard Arabic with English, and with medical terms in the same sentence 😓 • Right-to-left scripts add technical hurdles • What we have seen so far is, that every hospital, specialty, and physician personalizes how they write For years complexity like this meant healthcare AI built in English-speaking markets simply didn’t translate - literally. This has historically meant that huge parts of the world have been underserved. That’s why this matters to me. Bringing world-class AI to healthcare isn’t about one geography or one language, it’s about every corner of the world getting access to better care. Healthcare should be universal, but health data is not. Meeting clinicians in their language is the only way to build trust and impact at scale. New gateway into the MENA region: apply for the Digital Startups Scale Up Program in Dubai 🚀 Tumar Innovation Hub, in partnership with DIFC Innovation Hub and supported by Astana Hub and IT PARK Uzbekistan, is opening doors for Central Asian founders. This fall, the UAE will host the first-ever acceleration program tailored for startups from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, helping them localize, scale, and access opportunities across the MENA region. The acceleration program consists of a pre-selection and selection phase, a preparation phase, a program phase, Demo Day, and a post-program phase. To be considered for participation, startups have to meet the following requirements: 🔹A mature startup with sustainable traction in the country of residence 🔹Preparedness to localize the company’s operations, team, and product for the UAE and MENA market 🔹A compelling pitch deck outlining the rationale and strategic fit for expansion into the UAE 🔹Availability of resources to relocate a founder or co-founder to the UAE for the full 8-week duration of the program The program will run from mid-September to mid-November 2025, and the application starts now.
