CHIA is responsible for providing meaningful analysis on hospital and health systems through various measures and reporting. In support of this goal, CHIA has released its most recent Hospital Profiles publication with data through hospital fiscal year 2023 (HFY 2023).  Massachusetts Hospital Profiles provide information on acute and non-acute hospitals based on hospital characteristics, services, payer mix, utilization trends, top discharges, and financial performance and cost trends over a five-year period through HFY 2023. These profiles enable comparison against statewide or peer cohorts for each measure.  CHIA has updated its interactive dashboard for acute hospitals and their health systems, allowing users to filter results by individual hospital, hospital type, and system affiliation where applicable.
