We as the Gulf Coast Chapter board attracted 30% of the paid registrants for Spring Conference (a 46.6% increase over the prior year in San Antonio), and it ended up being the single most profitable conference in the entire history of the Texas Regional Chapter.

I personally-identified a certifiable-expert on the topic, and it became the single most heavily-attended event (virtual or in-person) in the long and richly successful history of our Chapter, with 300 registered attendees from throughout the United States.

We had slightly over 200 attendees on the call, making it the single most heavily-attended virtual event in the history of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Risk Management Association.

    In late October of 2018, we as the Board of Directors of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Risk Management Association (RMA) hosted a general membership event luncheon in the Galleria area of southwest Houston. The theme of the luncheon was “Secure Your Career” and the presenter was a recognized scholar/university educator on career management, Rochelle Parks-Yancy of Texas Southern University. I had the great pleasure of sourcing Rochelle as the keynote speaker and serving as emcee to introduce her to a capacity crowd (70+ in attendance) of commercial banking professionals from all throughout the Greater Houston area. The event was a complete sellout, as we met the attendance maximum established by the venue approximately 1 week prior.

    In mid-April of 2018, I had the privilege of sourcing and introducing the keynote speaker at the annual Spring Conference of the Texas Regional Chapter of the Risk Management Association (RMA). This regional chapter encompasses all five (5) stand-alone chapters of the RMA in Texas; those being North Texas, Gulf Coast, San Antonio, Central Texas and Rio Grande. The conference location rotates throughout the State of Texas amongst our largest cities (the April 2018 conference was held in The Woodlands, directly north of Houston). The speaker was Ms. Raegan Hill, a Houston-based staffing recruiter and recognized expert in the use of LinkedIn in the context of professional networking and career branding. Over 200 people from all throughout Texas were in attendance, representing a diverse cross-section of the commercial banking industry in this state.
