Initiatives like #OperationStorkSpeed are a step in the right direction, but there’s much to get done. The future of infant nutrition doesn’t look like a cleaner version of what already exists. It looks like complete reinvention. As agency leaders prepare for the first comprehensive review of infant formula in nearly 30 years, I urge them to consider this: second to breast milk, infant formula is the most critical first food for babies. The gap between the two is significant, and closing it requires more than just removing what doesn’t belong—we have to focus on what should be included. We need an industry grounded in nutrition science, backed by clinical evidence, and committed to closing this nutritional gap in a meaningful way. At ByHeart, we’ve spent nearly a decade building what we believe the future of formula should look like: science-led, clinically proven, certified-clean, and designed to give parents real confidence at every feed. If you're focused on fitness and longevity, you're likely familiar with the constant emergence of new trends - no surprise given the ongoing advancements in science. One recent discovery highlights the significance of VO2max, which measures your body's oxygen uptake capacity, for overall performance and longevity (although as always, it does not replace a balanced life-style). In response to this, many #wearables now include estimates of VO2max, though their accuracy can differ. With sufficient precision, however, these tools can serve as valuable aids for athletes and individuals striving to maximize their performance by monitoring their progress.
