In 2017, The Clearing House, supported by key technology partners like ACI Worldwide, launched RTP—a 24/7 real-time payments rail in the U.S. This initiative has significantly accelerated the adoption of real-time payments, contributing to economic growth by enhancing the velocity of money. As highlighted in FXC Intelligence's recent report, real-time payments increased GDPs across 40 countries by a combined $164 billion in 2023.
