The Salesforce-Informatica deal is notable not only because it's the second technology mega-deal announced in the last few weeks (the other much larger transaction is Google/Wiz), but also because the buy-out price is rumored to be a 25% discount to the price Informatica was asking for a year ago. Could this be a sign that the long-standing buyer/seller "valuation gap" could be beginning to close, at least enough to get deals done? #mergersandacquisitions #transactions #deals
