We’re proud to share the results of our latest U.S. Performance Report, conducted by HVS, a global leader in hospitality consulting services. This comprehensive study analyzed 98 Preferred Hotels & Resorts member properties across North America from 2022 to 2024, spanning primary, secondary, tertiary, and resort markets. The findings show that Preferred-affiliated hotels consistently outperformed their competitive sets in Occupancy, Average Daily Rate (ADR), and Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) over the three-year period. 📊 Key Findings: • Resort hotels affiliated with Preferred achieved RevPAR Indexes of 136% to 139% vs. competitive sets, driven by superior transient ADR and occupancy, and premium group ADR. • Primary market hotels reported RevPAR Indexes of 111% to 119%, with strong transient occupancy and ADR supported by our 6M+ global I Prefer Hotel Rewards members. • Secondary and tertiary market hotels also excelled, with RevPAR Indexes of 102% to 107%, commanding premium ADRs and strong group segment performance. • All this, while maintaining an average cost of affiliation at less than 1.7% of gross rooms revenue, a fraction of the ~11% charged by other luxury and upscale brands. “The findings reinforce the strategic advantage of affiliating with Preferred Hotels & Resorts, as our performance is not reliant on a single stream, but equally weighted across five key revenue drivers, which include loyalty, marketing, as well as group, leisure and corporate sales” said Michelle Woodley, President.
