About
I build AI that solves real problems at scale.
Currently Chief AI Officer at JobNimbus, where I'm leading our AI transformation across product, engineering, and operations. JobNimbus is the leading SaaS platform for contractors (think roofing, siding, construction), and we're using AI to save them hours every single day.
Before this, I spent 6 years at BENlabs (TubeBuddy) as GM & CTO, building AI products for 16M+ YouTube creators. Led teams across engineering, data science, and AI. Scaled the business, managed full P&L, and learned what it takes to build AI that people actually use.
What I Do:
• Scale AI products from concept to production
• Build and lead high-performing engineering and AI teams
• Turn messy real-world problems into working solutions
• Share what I learn about AI, leadership, and building teams
Experience:
• Chief AI Officer at JobNimbus
• 6 years at BENlabs/TubeBuddy in progressive leadership roles
• Led engineering and data science teams at Ancestry
• Taught applied ML at BYU
• Multiple patents in tech innovation
Recognition:
• LinkedIn Top Voice in AI and technology leadership
• BusinessQ Magazine 40 Under 40 (2024)
• AI Utah 100 (2024)
• Chair of AI Chapter at Silicon Slopes
• Board Advisor at University of Utah MS Business Analytics
I write about AI that actually works (not the hype), building teams, and leadership lessons learned the hard way. 16,000+ people follow along.
Let's connect if you're:
• Building AI products that solve real problems
• Scaling technical teams
• Working in SaaS, or AI-enabled software
Or if you just want to talk about what's actually working in AI right now.
