Key Responsibilities:

Provide overall direction for all DFCH activities including executive decision making, problem-solving, and strategy. Advise Commissioner, colleagues and others on issues relating to family and child health, including connections and collaboration with subject matter experts. Manage development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies for public health services that help improve health outcomes for all New York families. Direct and supervise the Division's four Assistant Commissioners and immediate executive office staff etc..


Preferred Skills:

Strong ability to lead, support and collaborate with teams internally and externally. Master’s Degree and a minimum of five to seven years of progressively responsible executive leadership and administrative management experience etc..


Minimum Qualification Requirements:

1. Possession of a valid license to practice medicine in the State of New York plus valid Board Certification issued by the appropriate American Specialty Board in an approved medical specialty; and four years of medical practice including one year of experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity; or 2. A combination of education and/or experience equivalent to that listed in "1" above etc Read online for the accuracy of the MQR.
