Education and Experience:
Technical Skills
- Formulation Development:
- Develop and optimize pest control formulations, including insecticides, rodenticides,
- Tailor formulations to meet efficacy, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Product Testing and Evaluation:
- Conduct laboratory and field tests to evaluate product effectiveness against target pests.
- Assess physical and chemical stability, efficacy, and environmental impact under various
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure formulations comply with local, national, and international regulatory standards
- Prepare and submit technical documentation for regulatory approval.
- Research and Innovation:
- Explore and integrate emerging active ingredients, delivery systems, and sustainable
- Stay informed about new technologies and advancements in pest control chemistry.
- Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to scale up formulations and optimize production
- Troubleshoot issues during scale-up and recommend improvements for quality control.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate lab records, including experimental design, data analysis, and
- Prepare detailed technical reports and present research results to internal and external
- Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work with cross-functional teams, including biology, regulatory, and marketing teams, to
- Liaise with suppliers and external research organizations as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in pesticide formulation, pest control product development, or related
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of pesticide chemistry, toxicology, and modes of action.
- Experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, or FTIR for active ingredient
- Familiarity with encapsulation, emulsification, and other delivery technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
- Experience with biodegradable and environmentally friendly pest control solutions.
- Knowledge of integrated pest management (IPM) practices and their implementation.
- Familiarity with global trends in pest control innovation and sustainability.
