What You'll Do

You'll Be Matched With An Opportunity To Teach a Monday Podcasting Course In The Afternoon To 11th And 12th Graders At a School In Kingsbridge In The Bronx. You Will Be Teaching The Following

Recording Basics: Show how to use a microphone, set up recording software, and understand basic audio settings.Hands-On Practice: Allow kids to record their episodes in small groups or individually, practicing their scripts and using the equipment.

• Basic Editing Skills: Teach how to use simple audio editing software (like Audacity or GarageBand) to cut, arrange, and enhance their recordings.
• Adding Music and Effects:Introduce how to add background music or sound effects to make the podcast more engaging
  
  

Publishing And Sharing

• Exporting Files: Show how to export the final podcast episode in the correct format.
• Sharing: Discuss how podcasts can be shared with family and friends, or even uploaded to a simple platform for a wider audience.
