Business Systems Analyst experience with Auto lending Domain

Location: Dallas, TX (3 days work from office)

Duration of project: 12 months with possible extension

Job Description

The Business Analyst will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that auto lending processes and systems are optimized for efficiency, compliance, and customer experience. This role requires deep domain expertise in auto finance and lending workflows, combined with strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of Auto Lending lifecycle: Dealer onboarding, loan origination, underwriting, servicing, collections, and repossession.
  • Requirement Documentation skills and expereince working with GenAI tools to quickly generate quality writeup
  • Experience with settlement process. curing deficiencies, predictive analytics, and compliance
  • Experience with business process modeling tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Lucid) and project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Familiarity with auto finance platforms (Dealertrack, RouteOne) and integration frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with business users, dealers, and technical teams to elicit, document, and validate requirements for auto lending solutions.
  • Process Modeling: Perform gap analysis (Current State vs. Future State) and create business process flows for origination, underwriting, servicing, collections, and securitization.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize predictive models and analytics to improve credit decisioning, dealer risk profiling, and loss mitigation strategies.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and optimize processes for fraud detection, collateral validation, and title management.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between business and IT teams, facilitating workshops and ensuring alignment on deliverables.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of requirements, workflows, and system configurations.
