Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Remote (United States)
Cash compensation: $200,000–$250,000 (base salary plus bonus)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance organization for a growing, profitable operating company. The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for financial strategy, operational excellence, and scalable infrastructure to support continued growth.
This role requires a disciplined financial leader with strong accounting fundamentals, proven team leadership, and experience operating in fast-growth or private-equity-backed environments.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership
Provide strategic financial leadership and serve as a trusted partner to the founders and executive team
Own the company’s financial strategy, planning, and performance management
Accounting & Controls
Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, AR/AP, and month-end close
Lead and develop the accounting team, including a Head of Accounting and distributed staff
Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in accordance with applicable standards
Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance
Financial Planning & Analysis
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
Develop and maintain KPI reporting and executive dashboards
Analyze financial and operational performance to drive profitability and efficiency
Treasury & Cash Management
Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital
Oversee banking relationships, vendor terms, and payment processes
Manage any debt facilities and related compliance
Tax, Audit & Compliance
Oversee tax planning, filings, and compliance with external advisors
Manage annual audits and financial statement reviews
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and reporting requirements
Strategic & Transactional Support
Support capital raising activities and financing processes
Lead financial diligence and integration support for acquisitions
Oversee financial systems, ERP, and data infrastructure
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience
Prior CFO, VP of Finance, or equivalent senior finance leadership role preferred
Strong accounting background with deep understanding of financial reporting and controls
Experience in high-growth, PE-backed, or operationally complex businesses
Proven ability to lead and scale finance teams (10+ team members)
Experience working with distributed or offshore teams a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
Industry experience is flexible; operational and growth-stage experience is more important than sector specialization.
