Role: Cloud Security Engineer - SRE

Location/s: Alpharetta, GA / Berkeley Heights, NJ / Frisco, TX (Onsite from Day 1)

The Opportunity

  • This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our security posture and streamline processes through automation.
  • Ensure uptime and reliability of cloud services.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring tools.
  • Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Design and implement secure cloud architectures.
  • Ensure adherence to standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, etc.
  • Conduct regular audits and generate compliance reports.

Required

Technical Skills:

  • Programming and Scripting: Strong proficiency in languages like Python, Go, Bash, or
  • A strong understanding of HashiCorp Vault and Terraform will make you stand out.
  • Incident Management: Ability to manage and respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement post-mortem reviews.
  • Security Best Practices: Understanding of security principles, such as access control, data encryption, and secure coding practices.
  • Compliance: Familiarity with compliance standards like GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS, depending on the industry.
