Summary: Works under general supervision of the foreman and is responsible to assure the proper, safe, efficient, timely completion of landscape installation projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

• Valid driver license a plus.
  
  
  

Language Skills

• Some ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend Spanish, a plus.

• Mathematical Skills
• Basic to intermediate math.
  
  
  

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail
  
  
  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interpretation of blueprints, schematics, specifications, materials, take-offs, as builds and controller charts.
• Layout, installation, piping and control wiring
• Installation of landscape, IE paths, fences, courtyards, structures.
• Operation, care, use and maintenance of all hand tools, power tools and construction equipment related to trade
• Application of methods and techniques of handling, distributing Storage and delivery of material and equipment.
• Soil amendments, treatment and Tilling
• Layout, installation and establishment of plants, trees, shrubs, ground covers, turf, plant identification, etc.
• Application of job safety and rigging and moving loads.
• Other duties as assigned
  
  
  

Physical Demands/ Working Conditions

• Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand and walk safely on Construction Sites including uneven ground.
• Must be able to see at close vision, distant vision, peripherally, have depth perception and can adjust focus.
• Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
• Duties are performed outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. of weight frequently throughout the day.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, lift, push and pull materials and equipment to complete job tasks.
• Ability to frequently work in various positions including, but not limited to, standing, walking, stooping, bending, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods.
