What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Director of Marketing (US) to lead and scale our U.S. marketing function. This role owns the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for the U.S. market, with a strong focus on partner-driven growth, sales enablement, and pipeline generation.
The Director of Marketing will work closely with sales leadership, cloud partners, and global marketing counterparts to define go-to-market strategy, support a growing sales team, and drive demand through events, campaigns, and partner programs. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution and is ideal for a senior marketer who thrives in a fast-growing, services-led environment.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
Own U.S. marketing strategy aligned to company growth goals and partner priorities
Define and evolve ICPs, solution positioning, and go-to-market motions
Partner with sales leadership to align marketing efforts to pipeline and revenue goals
Collaborate with global marketing leadership to ensure consistency across regions
Partner Marketing (AWS, Google Cloud, Others)
Manage marketing relationships with cloud partners, primarily AWS and Google Cloud
Plan and execute partner-led and partner-supported marketing initiatives
Leverage partner portals, programs, and co-marketing opportunities
Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to track partner updates, programs, and changes
Demand Generation & Events
Own event-led demand generation strategy (networking events, partner events, industry events)
Plan and execute in-person and virtual events aligned to ICPs and sales priorities
Oversee event promotion, registration, follow-up, and lead handoff to sales
Evaluate event performance and optimize strategy over time
Sales Enablement
Develop and maintain sales enablement assets including decks, solution overviews, and whitepapers
Ensure sales teams are equipped with up-to-date messaging, materials, and data
Support onboarding and enablement for new sales hires
Align messaging across marketing, sales, and partner teams
Marketing Operations, Tools & Reporting
Own the U.S. marketing tech stack, including CRM, marketing automation, landing pages, and analytics
Partner with operations to manage Salesforce funnel reporting and pipeline visibility
Oversee lead management, nurturing, and MQL handoff processes
Identify opportunities to improve processes, integrations, and reporting
Website & Content
Partner on website evolution and positioning updates as part of broader brand and UX initiatives
Oversee creation of marketing content aligned to solutions, industries, and thought leadership
Identify opportunities to strengthen technical content in collaboration with engineering and sales
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
8+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in cloud, SaaS, or professional services
Proven experience supporting sales teams and driving pipeline in a services-led organization
Strong experience with partner marketing, especially AWS and/or Google Cloud ecosystems
Experience owning events as a core demand generation channel
Strong understanding of CRM and marketing automation tools (Salesforce experience required)
Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on
Preferred / Nice to Have
Experience marketing cloud, infrastructure, or AI/ML services
Familiarity with partner portals and co-selling/co-marketing motions
Experience working in a distributed or global organization
Comfort building processes where they don’t yet exist
