Our client is a venture-backed cybersecurity startup hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a team building and scaling their core platform. This is a fully remote role with significant ownership, combining people leadership with hands-on technical influence in a fast-growing environment.
You’ll work closely with product, security, and engineering leadership to shape system architecture, guide execution, and deliver high-impact features across a mission-critical product.
What You’ll Do
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of full-stack engineers in a fully remote setting
Own execution and technical direction while remaining close to the code through design and architecture reviews
Partner with product and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-impact features
Drive system design and backend architecture for reliable, production-grade systems
Foster a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement
Support hiring, onboarding, and development as the team scales
Who You Are
Experienced engineering leader with a strong technical foundation
Background in full-stack or backend development
Comfortable working with modern technologies such as Python, Go, or Node.js and React/TypeScript
Familiar with cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines
Strong communicator who thrives in fast-paced, fully remote startup environments
Ownership-driven and excited to build, iterate, and scale
