Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Financial Accountant at Elim Park in Park. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial reports, overseeing payroll. Assisting in yearly audits. Preparing Medicare and Medicaid cost reports. Additional duties include reconciling financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, analyzing financial data, and assisting with budget development. The role will collaborate with other departments to maintain accurate records and support decision-making processes.
Some of the Qualifications
Strong background in Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial Reporting
Proficiency in Financial Analysis and Budget Preparation
Experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable and Payroll Management
Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in accounting and finance
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA certification or equivalent is a plus
Previous experience in a senior living or healthcare environment is preferred
