Financial Analyst: I (Junior)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position offers the flexibility of working remotely while providing critical support to the organization’s financial operations. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, collaborating closely with various departments to drive informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and manage annual budgets for the security department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop and update quarterly forecasts to reflect changes in expenses and business needs.
• Monitor and approve expenses based on established budgets and forecasts.
• Generate monthly financial reports comparing actual results to budgets, forecasts, and prior year performance.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Perform spend analysis and track vendor-level expenses to optimize cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with leaders in the Security department to align financial planning with operational priorities.
• Work closely with peers in Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
• Utilize Oracle NetSuite and Oracle Cloud Hyperion Planning for financial data management and planning.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to raising the standards of financial operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and expense reporting processes.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in variance and cost analysis.
• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite and Oracle Cloud Hyperion Planning.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-starter with a curious mindset and eagerness to learn and grow.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
