Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Financial Data Analyst for a critical data transformation project. This role focuses on the migration of Benchmark (Index) and Security/Issuer Master data from a legacy system to a new data platform. Unlike a pure engineering role, this position requires a high degree of business knowledge. The ideal candidate understands the complexities of financial reference data and can bridge the gap between technical migration and business utility. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of data through rigorous cleanups, reconciliation, and UAT. This will involve analyzing large datasets of security and benchmark data (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Indices) to identify gaps, duplicates, and inconsistencies prior to migration. You will help to lead the reconciliation process between the old and new platforms to ensure data parity. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of financial products and valuation coupled with a strong background in data management, including experience with SQL, PowerApps, and Python. This position requires you to be onsite in Boston 4 days a week with 1 day of remote flexibility. The compensation for this role is based on years of experience and ranges from $32/hr-$37/hr.
