As Snelgrove aggressively grows the brand, significant growth opportunities are on the horizon. We are looking for a General Manager for a brand new store who values our rich history and is ready to contribute to the expansion of the Snelgrove Ice Cream family.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated General Manager to lead our Snelgrove Ice Cream team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our day-to-day operations, implementing growth strategies, and upholding the legacy of our brand. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including staff management, customer service, financial performance, and maintaining the high-quality standards set by the Snelgrove family.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily business operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
· Maintain the highest quality standards in product offerings and customer service.
· Create and manage budgets to achieve financial goals.
· Take an active role in store operations during peak business hors to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Staff Leadership:
· Recruit, hire, and train employees to uphold Snelgrove Ice Cream's service and quality standards.
· Develop and mentor staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
· Schedule staff effectively to meet operational needs.
Customer Service:
· Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction, responding to customer feedback and concerns.
· Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience.
Financial Management:
· Analyze financial data and generate reports to monitor and improve business performance.
· Implement cost-effective measures and revenue-generating initiatives.
Strategic Growth:
· Develop and implement growth strategies in line with the Snelgrove Ice Cream brand.
· Identify and capitalize on business opportunities within the local community.
· Build sales by exploring catering and wholesale opportunities in the area.
Requirements:
· 21 years of age or older with a minimum 1 year management experience, including Profit and Loss management.
· Available to work minimum 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends
· Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
· Ability to stand, bend, scoop, and regularly lift up to 40 pound
· Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
· Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
· Proficiency with technology including POS software, Microsoft Office products, email, as well as other additional web based programs such as inventory, hiring, and recruiting software.
· A strong network and connection to the local community where the store is located.
· Must complete a background investigation.
· A job performance reference check is also required.
