Revenue Forecasting: Develop accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics to drive informed decision-making.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, and operations, to align sales strategies with product offerings and customer needs.
Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for major contracts, ensuring favorable terms while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing global sales teams.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Tier 1 automotive supply chain, OEM relationships, and market dynamics.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams across multiple regions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze market data, sales performance, and financial metrics to drive strategic decisions.
Global Perspective: Experience working in international markets, with cultural awareness and adaptability.
Travel: Willingness to travel globally as needed (up to 50%).
Preferred Skills
Established network of contacts within the automotive OEM and supplier community.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
