The Manufacturing Engineering team supports daily manufacturing operations in the Clinton, PA (Pittsburgh, PA) facility. The focus of this intern project is to provide support to optimize manufacturing processes and material flow within the manufacturing spaces.

Project Description
The Manufacturing Engineering team supports daily manufacturing operations in the Clinton, PA (Pittsburgh, PA) facility. The focus of this intern project is to provide support to optimize manufacturing processes and material flow within the manufacturing spaces.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the Manufacturing Engineering team with process improvement activities; updating and documenting procedures and performing verification steps.
- Support the verification of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) software platform
- Collect data on manufacturing processes to support developing a process baseline and also the verification of data collection processes
- Comply with all ISO 14001 and 13485 requirements.
- Comply with internal environmental management system requirements, as applicable.
- Current standing as a Rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate student actively enrolled in an accredited Engineering or related field Undergraduate or Graduate program, required.
- Prior internship experience, leadership experience, or relevant coursework
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products
- Highly motivated, self-starter with demonstrated experience working with teams
- Support the Manufacturing Engineering team with process improvement activities; updating and documenting procedures and performing verification steps.
- Support improving the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) while utilizing the software platform for data trending
- Collect data on manufacturing processes to support developing a process baseline and also the verification of data collection processes
