50 year old Life and Annuity Insurance Brokerage General Agency (BGA) is growing and looking to hire an experienced Regional Wholesaler. This is a regional point of sale Wholesaler role that will work directly with Wire-House based Financial Advisors who require assistance with overall risk management, estate and business planning needs where knowledge of insurance related tax strategies come into play. This role will cover a small region that includes Western PA, Eastern OH and WV. Willingness to meet face to face with FA’s and their clients within the region is required. Previous working with FA’s within wires is a plus. Having experience working for a BGA is a plus. Knowledge of various advanced sales concepts is also a plus. Any experience as a Financial Advisor is a plus.

Main Responsibilities Include

  • Develop new wirehouse based Financial Advisor relationships
  • Maintain and build upon existing FA relationships
  • Provide continuous product training and practice management initiatives
  • Work with the internal teams in areas like Advanced Sales, Case Design, Underwriting and Marketing to drive sales, especially for FA’s with HNW clients
  • Build and track pipeline and sales activities
  • Develop referral program and other prospecting methods
  • Become a trusted resource and goto partner for FA’s in the wire-house space

Requirements include:

  • 3+ years experience in similar role as Life/Annuity Wholesaler or Point of Sale Specialist
  • Deep knowledge of Insurance and Annuity products
  • Proven experience working with Financial Advisors
  • Experience working with the Financial Institutions/“WireHouses”
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Advanced Sales strategies for HNW clients
  • Life and Health license, other designations preferred (CLU, ChFC, etc.)
  • Strong work ethic and self motivated
  • Clean U4
  • Currently licensed is a plus: 6, 63, 7, L&H, etc.

This is a full-time permanent role offering base salary, annual bonus/commission, PTO and corporate medical and retirement benefits. This is a fully remote position, but we will require that this person live within the assigned region (Western PA, Eastern OH, Northern WV) or be willing to move to this area.
