Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Engagement Strategy & Execution
    • Build and execute comprehensive engagement plans for employer groups that accelerate onboarding, improve retention, and deliver measurable ROI.
    • Own multi-channel lifecycle journeys (email, SMS, push, in-app messaging, onsite assets) ensuring each message is simple, actionable, and behavior-changing.
    • Design engagement paths that bridge outside-the-app communication with in-app actions to drive meaningful usage of Medefy’s core features.
  • Content Development & Behavioral Messaging
    • Write clear, human, member-first content that simplifies complex benefits and nudges users toward next steps.
    • Apply behavioral science frameworks to increase motivation, reduce friction, and improve completion rates.
    • Maintain consistent voice and tone across all channels, aligned with Medefy’s Care Guide–style communication.
  • Performance Optimization
    • Monitor, measure, and iterate on all engagement campaigns — improving open rates, activation, and downstream savings impact.
    • Conduct continuous A/B testing to optimize creative, cadence, segmentation, and timing.
    • Build clear reporting and post-campaign summaries highlighting performance, insights, and recommended changes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with Client Success to align engagement strategy with client needs and ROI goals.
    • Work with Implementation to ensure new groups launch with strong, personalized communication plans.
    • Collaborate with Product to integrate lifecycle marketing into new feature rollouts and in-app experiences.
    • Support the Experience Unit’s broader intelligence work by feeding insights into segmentation, health scoring, and the automated reporting engine.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

You must have at least the following:

  • 5+ years in lifecycle marketing, CRM, content strategy, or behavioral communications — ideally in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
  • Experience using marketing automation tools (ActiveCampaign, Braze, Iterable, Customer.io, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills across email, SMS, and app-based channels.
  • Skilled in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern content production tools.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with proven A/B testing and iteration experience.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, problem-solving independently, and moving quickly.

It Would Be Great If You Have

  • Experience in healthtech, healthcare, benefits, or wellness communications.
  • Lifecycle journey design for mobile apps (activation, onboarding, retention).
  • Experience applying AI tools to content creation, campaign optimization, or analytics.
  • Understanding of behavioral science and consumer decision-making frameworks.
  • Passion for helping people navigate healthcare with clarity and confidence.

Physical And Mental Requirements

  • Remote Work Environment :
    • This position is performed remotely in a home-office setting.
    • The employee must ensure a quiet, private workspace free from distractions and suitable for video conferencing and focused work.
    • A reliable high-speed internet connection is required.
  • Physical Demands :
    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (up to 8+ hours per day).
    • Frequent use of a computer keyboard, mouse, and screen; ability to type at least 55 WPM.
    • Occasional movement within the home office environment (e.g., retrieving office supplies or documents).
    • Vision abilities required include close vision for computer use and reading documentation, with or without corrective lenses.
  • Communication Requirements :
    • Must be able to communicate effectively in English using written and verbal channels (email, chat, video conferencing, phone).
    • Must be able to read and interpret complex written information such as healthcare documentation, performance reports, and company procedures.
    • Must be responsive and present during scheduled working hours and team communications, including virtual meetings and collaboration platforms.
  • Cognitive and Emotional Demands :
    • Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and competing priorities in a high-paced environment.
    • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving under time constraints.
    • Must be able to adapt quickly to changing workflows, operational needs, and team dynamics.
    • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
    • Requires emotional resilience, especially when assisting users in distress or resolving escalated member concerns.
    • Must be able to maintain composure and a professional demeanor under pressure.
